Give your videos a polished finish
A YouTube end screen template gives the last moments of your video a consistent visual identity. Choose an animated outro background, personalize the text, and leave clear spaces for your next video and subscribe element.
How to use a YouTube end screen template
Add the finished MP4 to the end of your video in your editing app, then upload the complete video to YouTube. In YouTube Studio, open the video’s End screen editor and position the clickable video and subscribe elements over the spaces in the design. The graphic itself does not create clickable links.
How long should an end screen be?
YouTube supports end screens during the final 5–20 seconds of eligible videos, and the complete video must be at least 25 seconds long. Our end screen videos run for 20 seconds. End screens are unavailable on videos set as made for kids, and their display can vary by device and viewing context.
One video or two?
Choose one video for a focused recommendation with a larger landing space, or two videos to offer viewers a choice. Both layouts include a subscribe landing space. Check the alignment using YouTube Studio’s preview before publishing.
End screen templates and YouTube outro templates
An end card or outro template is the designed ending of your video. Use concise labels, keep the video spaces clear, and choose a dark or light theme that complements your channel. Each listing shows its exact delivery format, dimensions and customization options.
Complete your channel’s look with a YouTube banner and a matching profile picture.
