What size is a Discord profile banner?

Profile banners use a wide frame, and most of our designs are made at 680 × 240 pixels to fill it. Every order includes an animated GIF plus static PNG and JPG versions at a single price, so you have the right file whether or not you use animation.

Do I need Nitro for a profile banner?

Custom profile banners are currently a Discord Nitro feature. Server profiles, available with Nitro, also let you use a different banner in each server.

How do I upload it?

  • Open User Settings and choose Profiles.
  • Select Change Banner and upload the GIF, or the PNG for a static look.
  • Preview the profile card and save.
